16 fun facts about me!
Rules: Once you’ve been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 16 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose 16 people to be tagged. You have to tag the person who tagged you. If I tagged you, it’s because I want to know more about you.
I was tagged by cloudwalking.
1. I eat steak… without steak sauce.
2. I love to play volleyball. In high school, I was a part of our school’s first team to win sectionals and only team to make it to the regional championship.
3. I liked Archie comics as a kid. I even appeared in one issue for a feature called Hometown Heroes because I helped Kindergartners. It included a school picture of me in braces. I’ll post a photo of it if I can find it. I also got a certificate and some Archie stuff like a pen and notepad.
4. One of my oldest friends and I were in the Girl Scouts together. I still remember us learning to sing “Make new friends, but keep the old. One is silver, the other is gold…”
5. I love to travel. If someone offered me a trip to any country, it would be Japan. The only countries I’ve visited outside of the U.S. are Mexico and Canada. I’ve been to Mexico twice — once with family and once for a school trip.
6. I love those moments when I make the people closest to me laugh really, really hard. It makes me happy seeing them so happy.
7. When I was younger, I wanted to be an oceanographer and I loved dolphins. My parents once surprised me with the chance to swim with dolphins while we were on vacation and I was so happy!
8. I always wanted a tree house. I loved playing in the backyard, so it’s probably best I never had one or else I probably would have lived there.
9. Regardless of how many children I will have of my own, I’ve always wanted to adopt a child someday.
10. The pillowcases in my dorm bedroom are Spiderman. Spidey is my favorite superhero.
11. If I had the chance, I would be an actress. I loved acting in the summer theatre programs when I was younger, and I regret not taking theatre in high school instead of playing sports all year long. I even considered minoring in theatre in college.
12. I don’t wear makeup most of the time (by choice, not out of laziness) and I still feel beautiful.
13. I met my fiance in an internet web design class. Pretty appropriate, I think.
14. I’ve never seen any of The Godfather movies!
15. I’m somehow related to Samuel Mudd.
16. I used to be a dog person, but cats have grown on me. (I imagined the last part of that sentence literally. Man, wouldn’t that be weird?)
